Delphine Renou is a Documentary Photographer. She is represented by Wostok Press photo agency. After studying in video editing in the South of France, she now works on a freelance video editor basis for various television channels (Canal +, Arte, documentaries, reports...) In 2008, she travelled to Africa with an NGO. After this experience, she decided to become a photographer, and travels to Ethiopia, Mexico, Mongolia and Vietnam. She focuses on humanitarian and social issues around the world. In 2012, she realised a photo report with an NGO in several Afghan provinces. In 2013, she begin a long-term project about the new generation of women in Afghanistan "Kabul Women" (October 2013-in progress). This documentary prepares a series of portraits of modern women who are active in their country and who stand for their rights in a society both aspiring to modernity and where traditions are deeply rooted. She has also created an independant collective of freelance documentary photographers and filmmakers covering social issues : Digital Mill . She took part in the master class photography course with the reporter-photographer Eric Bouvet in Arles. Also, she worked as a volunter at Aina, an NGO founded by the photographer Reza.
